| Enclosed are the instructions for the annual
statement and related financial reporting filings due in 2008. Filings shall be
made utilizing the 2007 Annual Statement Instructions and blanks adopted by the
National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). |
| The instructions have been prepared using the
standardized checklist format recommended by the NAIC. Foreign insurers should
note that certain sections of the annual statement are not required to be filed
in hardcopy with Alabama, as Alabama is a participating state in the NAIC
electronic filing project (with exceptions). |
| Please read the notes which are attached to the
checklists. |
| The Premium Tax Returns, Application for
Renewal, Official List, Audit and Exam Transmittal form, Retaliatory Statement,
and Office Facilities Worksheet may be obtained by clicking on the
Forms Page in the 'Companies' section. |
